Accountants Appointed to Administer Fund for Sri LankaDate: 06/01/05James Cording & Co. (Accountants) have been appointed as administrators of the Securewest International fund raising to send more Gurkha teams to Sri Lanka. Thanks to the kind contribution of James Cording & Co. no professional administration fees will be charged in connection with servicing the fund. Currently donations are being sent to Securewest International but from now on they may be addressed directly to the accountants. They expect to announce shortly direct bank account and electronic transfer details for both GB£ sterling and US$ dollars. Details will be posted here as soon as possible. We are grateful to HSBC bank for opening and operating the accounts with no charges. Following news now coming through from the first two teams arrived in country there is even greater urgency to send direct aid in the form of professional manpower to the country. Much of the aid is there - the problem is distributing it and securing its movements.
