Escort Vessels
In high risk areas and where anti-piracy measures are required, Escort Vessels, with armed security teams, offer another method of enhanced security and serve to provide an exclusion zone around a commercial ship. The escort vessel can be supported by roaming patrols via RIB deployment. This method of security may be particularly appropriate for high risk transits or where there is a vulnerable cargo (LNG).
